1. What do you sell?
We offer a carefully selected range of party decorations and party supplies for special occasions.
2. Do you also offer event planning services?
Yes. We also provide personalised event planning services for celebrations of all ages.
3. Where do you deliver?
We currently deliver to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
4. Which couriers do you use?
We use An Post and DPD.
5. Do you offer local collection in Galway?
Yes. For customers in the Galway area, we offer local collection by prior arrangement. Please contact us to arrange collection and wait for confirmation that your order is ready.
6. How quickly do you dispatch orders?
If your order is correct and all items are available, we aim to dispatch it within 2 working days.
7. How long does delivery take?
After dispatch, delivery is usually:
- Republic of Ireland: 1–2 working days
- Northern Ireland: usually 1–2 working days, depending on courier service and destination
These are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Current courier guidance supports next-working-day to 1–2-working-day delivery within Ireland, depending on the service used.
8. Can I cancel my online order?
Yes, for generic items bought online you can cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods and return them within 14 days of cancellation, subject to the conditions in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
9. Which items are non-refundable?
The following are non-refundable unless faulty, damaged, incorrect, or incomplete:
- personalised or bespoke items
- custom event items
- bespoke balloon setups
- made-to-order items
- hygiene-sensitive items
10. What condition must returned items be in?
Returned items must be:
- unused
- in original packaging
- in resaleable condition
- unopened where applicable
11. What should I do if my order arrives damaged or incomplete?
Please contact us as soon as possible at hello@planaparty.ie with your order number and photographs where relevant.
12. How do I book an event?
You can contact us by email or phone with your event details. A booking is only confirmed once we accept it and receive the required deposit or payment.
13. What deposit do you require for events?
Our standard deposit terms are:
- 30% for standard events
- 40%–50% for bespoke or high-value events
- 100% upfront for bookings made within 14 days of the event
14. Are event deposits refundable?
No. Event deposits are non-refundable if the client cancels, because they secure the date and cover initial planning and administration.
15. Do you require a waiver for children’s events?
For some children’s events, yes. Where required, the waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian before the event or activity begins.
16. Are parents responsible for supervising children?
Yes, unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing. Our event team are not acting as childminders or guardians.
