Orders and Acceptance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you place an order, you may receive an order confirmation email. Delivery Areas and Couriers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We currently deliver to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Republic of Ireland<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Northern Ireland<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We use:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An Post<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DPD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Local Collection<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For customers in the Galway area, local collection may be available by prior arrangement. Collection details will be confirmed directly with the customer once the order is ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8. Dispatch and Delivery<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your order is correct and all items are available, we aim to dispatch it within 2 working days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estimated delivery times after dispatch are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Republic of Ireland: usually 1\u20132 working days<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Northern Ireland: usually 1\u20132 working days, depending on courier service and destination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These are estimates only and are not guaranteed. An Post presents national Irish delivery as next working day on its current postal-service guidance, while DPD says most parcels within Ireland are delivered within 1\u20132 working days. DPD\u2019s UK\/NI guidance also states that from ROI it offers a two-day service to and from the UK, and for NI it offers both next-day and two-day options.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are not responsible for delays caused by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>couriers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>weather<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>peak seasonal demand<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>customs or transport disruption where relevant<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>incorrect customer details<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>circumstances outside our reasonable control<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address and contact details are correct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>9. Damaged, Missing, Incorrect or Faulty Items<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You should inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If an item arrives damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or faulty, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@planaparty.ie with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>your order number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>details of the issue<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>photographs where relevant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Where appropriate, we may offer a replacement, refund, or other suitable resolution in line with your legal rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>10. Returns and Refunds<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Returns &amp; Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms &amp; Conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For generic items bought online, you may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods and then return the goods within 14 days of cancellation, provided the items are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>unused<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>in original packaging<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>in resaleable condition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>unopened where applicable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This reflects the standard distance-selling cancellation framework for most online goods in Ireland.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following items are non-refundable unless faulty, damaged, incorrect, or incomplete:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>personalised or bespoke items<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>custom event items<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>bespoke balloon setups<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>made-to-order items<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>hygiene-sensitive items<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>11. Event Planning Services<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We provide event planning and related celebration services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An enquiry does not secure a booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A booking is only confirmed when:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>we accept the booking, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the required deposit or payment has been received<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreed booking may include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>event date<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>location<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>scope of services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>styling details<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>timings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>payment schedule<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>any special requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Any changes requested after booking may be subject to availability and may result in additional charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>12. Deposits and Payment for Events<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our standard event payment terms are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>30% deposit for standard events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>40%\u201350% deposit for bespoke or high-value events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>100% upfront for bookings made within 14 days of the event<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The remaining balance must be paid by the date agreed in writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A booking is not secured until the required deposit or payment has been received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deposits are non-refundable if the client cancels, because they secure the date and cover initial planning, administration, and any early commitments made on the client\u2019s behalf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>13. Event Cancellations, Postponements and Changes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you wish to cancel an event booking, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following cancellation charges apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>More than 28 days before the event: deposit retained<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>14 to 28 days before the event: deposit retained plus 50% of the remaining balance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Less than 14 days before the event: 100% of the total booking value may be payable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Any personalised items, made-to-order items, third-party supplier costs, or other non-recoverable costs already incurred remain payable in full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you request a postponement or date change, we may offer a transfer at our discretion, subject to availability and any costs already incurred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If we cancel due to circumstances within our control, we will offer either:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a transfer to another agreed date, or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a refund for services not provided<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>14. Children\u2019s Events, Supervision and Waivers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For children\u2019s events organised by us, a signed waiver may be required before the event takes place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where a waiver is required:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>it must be signed by a parent or legal guardian before the event or activity begins<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a child may not participate if the required waiver has not been signed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the information provided on the waiver must be complete and accurate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, parents or guardians remain responsible for the supervision, behaviour, welfare, and collection of their children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our staff, contractors, entertainers, or event team are not acting as childminders or legal guardians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You must tell us in advance about any relevant allergies, medical conditions, behavioural concerns, accessibility needs, or other information that may affect safety or suitability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We reserve the right to stop or restrict any activity where we reasonably believe there is a safety risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>15. Customer Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You agree to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>provide accurate information for orders and bookings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>check all confirmations carefully<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>notify us promptly of any changes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ensure suitable access and conditions for delivery or event setup<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>supervise children appropriately unless otherwise agreed in writing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>treat our staff, contractors, and suppliers respectfully<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We reserve the right to refuse service or end participation where behaviour is unsafe, abusive, threatening, or prevents us from delivering the agreed service properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>16. Third-Party Suppliers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where your event includes third-party venues, entertainers, caterers, rental providers, couriers, or other suppliers, we are not responsible for their independent acts, omissions, delays, failures, or cancellations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>17. Limitation of Liability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>indirect or consequential loss<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>delays outside our reasonable control<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>minor product differences in colour, finish, or appearance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>losses caused by incorrect information provided by the customer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>failures caused by third-party couriers, venues, or suppliers outside our reasonable control<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including statutory consumer rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>18. Force Majeure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, fire, flood, illness, government restrictions, transport disruption, venue closure, or supplier failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In such cases, we may suspend, postpone, or cancel affected orders or bookings and will try to agree a reasonable alternative where possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>19. Privacy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any personal data submitted through the website, ordering process, or booking process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>20.
